Itinerary Cost How to reach Essentials

This is a great weekend trek. The starting point of the trek and the finishing point are easily accessible and close to Dehradun. So close, yet one can reach an altitude of more than 3000 mts and hike in an absolutely remote region with almost no habitation. At Nag Tibba top you will have the whole place to yourself with just an odd Gujjar/shephard sharing the magnificent views with you. From here one gets a fabulous view of the Himalayan snow peaks of the Garhwal and Himachal. Some of the famous peaks that are visible from here include the Bundar Poonch, Swargarohini, Srikanth and Black Peaks.

From the top the trail on the other side is through very thick jungles with views totally in contrast of the previous day. On this day one gets to pass through a couple of very beautiful villages situated amidst thick Deodar forests.

Another great attraction of this trip would be the camping experience. There are beautiful meadows and thick jungles along the trail offering numerous scenic camping locations. Also this helps in customizing the itinerary for people, basis of fitness levels. This trek is suitable for people of all age groups having reasonable fitness.
